Great white sharks are made into the nightmares of the sea. But are they really that scary? Though they do attack humans, research shows that they are “sample biting” humans due to curiosity, rather than going in for the kill. They are extremely intelligent creatures that can even cooperate with other great whites.
In fact, great whites may think we are the scary creatures. These sharks are threatened by our fishing practices as well as pollution. What we do affects all the creatures in the sea, even the scary ones.
