Join us for our annual Earth Day event with KEEN Footwear!
This year Reef Relief and KEEN Footwear are partnering with the City of Key West to host a large Earth Day celebration. The event begins at 8:00 AM with the Key West Eco Village in the parking lot near the Key West National Wildlife Refuge.
Location:
Indigenous Park Parking Lot: 1801 White St. Key West (near Higgs Beach & White Street Pier)
Schedule:
- 8:00–9:00 AM: Pre-registered volunteers can check in to receive their free pair of shoes.
- Shortly after 9:00 AM: Group photo.
- 9:30 AM: Begin volunteer activities.
Two ways to volunteer:
- Help with a community cleanup along Atlantic Avenue and Nature Beach
- Assist with storm drain marking, placing messages that say “No Dumping, Drains to Ocean.”
Unable to volunteer? No problem!
The Eco Village will remain open until 12:00 PM. Bring your friends, family, students, or community groups to enjoy the event and learn more about protecting Key West’s beautiful environment.
