Guests at the grand opening included Sir Peter Anderson of the Conch Republic, (standing sideways to right center of photo speaking to Port Authority director Ross Sawyer and Craig Quirolo), one of several guests who flew over from New Plymouth’s sister city, Key West, for the opening ceremony. Sir Peter was the first supporter of the project.
