1 - 4 p.m. Backcountry Kayak Cleanup sponsored by Conch Republic Kayak Company. Volunteers from the Disney Magic crew will use kayaks to remove offshore marine debris from the Geiger Key area.

Tea for the Sea by the Sea at Atlantic Shores Resort, 510 South Street, Key West. Dance on the oceanside deck, swim in the pool, and enjoy the evening with proceeds benefitting Reef Relief.

10:30 a.m. Coral Reef Art Contest
in cooperation with the YMCA Summer Camp. Children will visit the Reef Relief Enviromental Center for a video/talk about coral reefs. Next they can create and submit an original artwork to Reef Relief to enter the art contest.

5 p.m.
The Reef Relief Annual Membership Meeting at at the Caribe Ballroom of the Wyndham Reach Resort, located at the foot of Simonton Street in Key West.The meeting will feature Reef Relief founder Craig Quirolo's annual State of the Reef Address on the Coral Photo Monitoring Survey, now in its 11th year. Social and refreshments begin at 5pm, program follows. Members are admitted for free--please bring a guest-- you can join at the door for a minimum of $30/year.

at Mote Marine Tropical Research Lab classroom., M.M. 24 Summerland Key. Learn about the study of corals and diseased. Public welcome.

12:00 p.m. Coral Reef Art Contest judging at Reef Relief Environmental Center. Grand prize: Top 6 artists will be offered an excursion abourd Daily Discoveries Wilderness Tours on Monday, August 4.

Dreams from a Rainbow Sea -- the Music Documentary, produced by Micahel Aw and Leandro Bianco. A special production on Comcast Television Channel 19 for viewers in the Florida Keys. Tune into the awesome film about coral reefs and become inspired to help protect our coral reefs!

Don't miss the gala Jewel of the Sea Reef Ball, on the beach at the Duval Beach Club at the oceanside of Duval Street. The evening begins at 7pm with a premium brands open bar, sushi bar, hor d'ouerves, followed by gourmet oceanfront dining, dancing in the sand to Caribbean steel pan music, and a silent auction, all for just $75 per person by reservation. Tickets are limited for this once a year extravaganza, so make your reservations early by contacting Reef Relief.
