| Elkhorn coral (Acropora palmata) is no stranger to storms and rough weather. This coral thrives in the turbulent conditions of the shallow reef crest and is well adapted to this type of environment. The coral colony in the picture above is one of the many survivors of the Ground Hog Day Storm. |
